why doesn’t my computer recognize my creative zen nomad jukebox?

When i plug in my creative zen nomad jukebox to the USB port in my computer… it doesn’t know its there and it says “Player is not connected” in the place where it should say “Player connected”… What is going on? How do i make it work?

make sure the jukebox is turned on when you plug it in
