What Do More People want to buy, ear buds or headphones that cover the ear?
What Would you buy if they were right next to each other in a store, ear buds or on ear headphones?
I currently use in ear headphone with silicone inserts, they are fairly comfortable and it allows me to pull one out if I need to speak to someone. Most of the REALLY high end phones are in ear (i.e. Shure E3) outer ear muffs are good though for reducing interference by outside noises though. Its all about frequency response and the driver efficiency so for sound either can be great.
