How to put ipod touch 2nd gen on sleep mode while playing a video from the songs list?

I just bought the 2nd gen ipod touch, and i was wondering how i can put it to sleep while i played a video from the songs list.

Actually, you can. Simply press the sleep button. The video may pause when you put the iPod to sleep.

If you want the video to continue playing when you put the iPod to sleep, press the home button twice, then press the play button. All should be well.
