HP laptop DV6 LCD Screen Got Blue
Recently my friend’s HP pavilion DV6 LCD Screen sometimes got blue screen. Though it’s not a big problem, it does trouble a lot when the laptop falls in this situation suddenly. In fact, there are many reasons that caused blue screen. I have collected some resource and posted here for reference.
Generally speaking, the blue screen results in the busy screen display system. To be more specific, there are two situations as followed.
On the one hand, the virtual memory system of multi-tasking computing error is the problem. Virtual memory is a specific solution to Windows systems for the lack of system resources, which generally require the primary boot free space of the hard disc 2-3 times the physical memory. Some enthusiasts take full advantage of space, which will have hard drive stuffed full, and forget this requirement of the Windows. As result, hard drive space for virtual memory compute error so that the blue screen came up. Very easy to solve this problem, to delete some temporary files systems generated, swap file, which can release the space.. Or you can manually configure the virtual memory; select Advance, the default virtual memory address, the next logical drive to another. This could be avoided due to lack of virtual memory. My friend’s DV6 LCD Screen often turned into blue screen due to this cause. And he can handle this problem by himself and often check his virtual space.
On the other hand, CPU over clocking can result in operation errors. This is another reason. Over clocking is commonplace for the computer fans, so the over clocking of fault is also inevitable. Over clocking is done on the basis of the original high performance. Because of the overloading operation, the internal computing is overloaded, making CPU over heated, and system operation erroring. Some CPU’s over clocking performance is better, but sometimes some strange errors are hard to handle. Proposed high-end CPU to over clocking, then the heat must be fully, the best fans mounted a large, together with some sort of heat silicone material. As for some low-end CPU, you’d better not over clocking which will decrease the normal speed of the computer.
Now you see why your LCD screen got blue screen. In daily using, take these tips in mind and try to avoid this situation.
