What is a good Media Player for various forms of media?

I want to invest in a media player to free up some storage on my laptop. But I need one that can not only store photos, but also play Mp3′s and Mp4′s, as well as video files in the WMV, AVI, and FLV formats. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could try AIMP for audio, and VLC Player for video.
AIMP willl play nearly all forms of audio, and VLC will play nearly all forms of video, both without having to download extra plugins or add ons. As for pictures?… I don’t know, sorry. go to http://www.filehippo.com and have a look around, it’s all free!
