I dont know what converter i need to download in order to convert videos for this player because i lost the booklet…does any one know what converter i need to download for the the player ? What is MPEG?
MPEG stands for Moving Picture Experts Group, which is an organization specially for making the international standard in multi-media field. Among so many multi-media data compression standards, MPEG series are always used. It includes MPEG-1, 2,3, 4.
Generally, to use MPEG video files, you need a personal computer with sufficient processor speed, internal memory, and hard disk space to handle and play the typically large MPEG file (which has a file name suffix of .mpg). You also need an MPEG viewer or client software that plays MPEG files. (Note that .mp3 file suffixes indicate MP3 (MPEG-1 audio layer-3) files, not MPEG-3 standard files.) You can download shareware or commercial MPEG players from a number of sites on the Web.
What is AVI?
An AVI (Audio Video Interleaved) file is a sound and motion picture file that conforms to the Microsoft Windows Resource Interchange File Format (RIFF) specification. AVI files (which end with an .avi extension) require a special player: Media Player that is contained in your web browsers or requires downloading.
As the most common format for audio/video, it is becoming a very flexible and powerful architecture with the introduction of DirecShow. Under the help of some new codecs like DivX and XviD, AVI files can even have better quality than DVD.
Guide for how to convert MPEG to AVI
1. Download the free trial converter at http://www.pavtube.com/video_converter
2. Run the program and import the files you want to convert. You may also open a folder with video files on your computer, select the files, and drag them to the file list.
3. When the program is launched at the first time, there is a guide for getting started for your references. The guide will show up, If the file list has been cleared.
