Will any radio flash transmitter work with any flash unit?
I’m looking at buy a flash unit and a radio transmitter thing. I’ve found a good transmitter/slave package but it say only certain flashes are compatible to it. Is this how it works, because I was told differently.

You buy them in pairs. A transmitter and receiver. Yes as long as they are the same brand and on the same frequency, sure.

What would keep me from paying under $50 for such a radio controlled flash sync is that the ones I buy cost much more. I am sure there is a good reason … I have had mine for over six years and they are still working just fine.

Add it up for three receivers and one transmitter, you will see that $50 does not go to far
