What will I have to pay to import an iPod Docking system from the USA to India regarding customs?

I want to import an iLuv i399 (iPod Docking system) from the USA and get it shipped to Bangalore, India via a courier. What would the customs be for this? And how does the payment work, does the courier pay and I refund them? Even if I get a rough estimate, I’d just like to see whether it’s worth importing.
Thanks, but the company (IPmart) states that they are not responsible for any customs & import tax fees and that their responsibility ends at the moment they ship the package to the customer.

If you bought it through a merchant/ seller they have a duty to pay this or to include in the cost of the iLuv.

Really, it is not your problem unless they stick to this.
